Physician Associate - Women’s* Sexual Health

*Please note that Women's Sexual Health includes sexual health for those that are female-identifying which may include but not limited to those assigned female at birth, vulva owners, queer-identified, gender non-conforming, and transfemale individuals.

Fosnight Center is seeking a dedicated, upstanding, and passionate Physician Associate to join our expanding team!

Candidates must meet the following criteria:
● Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant/Associate Master’s program or higher.
● Licensed to practice in the state of North Carolina - active license with no restrictions.
● Certified through NCCPA with a clean professional record.
● At least 3 years experience as a physician associate.
● At least one year of gynecology, urology, urogynecology, and/or sexual medicine experience preferred.
● Independent, tenacious, collaborative, efficient communicator, and willing to work collectively with the Fosnight Center team.
● The provider should be self-motivated, capable of working independently, and driven to take on leadership responsibilities.
● Interest in women’s* health and sexual medicine
● Focus topics include but are not limited to, AFAB concerns with hormone imbalances, body image, PCOS, PMDD, peri/menopause, hypoactive sexual desire, pelvic pain, urinary incontinence, pelvic floor disorders, and general sexual wellness.
● Adhere to professional ethical standards of care, anti-racism lens, LGBTQIA+ affirming,
trauma-informed, practice cultural humility, and understand the role of intersectional
identities and social determinants of health.
● Willing to participate in team building activities, strive for personal and professional
growth, and engage in community outreach.
● Flexibility in the insurance credentialing and onboarding process.
● In-person and virtual appointments during office hours, including Fridays and evenings
(no weekends required)
● Excellent qualifications and letters of recommendation required.
● Practice at the highest level of their scope to support Fosnight Center's mission.
